At the gate
How admission works
I do not sell tickets. I do not scan anything. This page exists because people keep asking me in the lot how the paperless system works, and because an advertisement that mentions tickets is not the same thing as a cashier.
Timed entry
The lift runs on slots. A slot is a window, not a private cabin. You are asked to arrive in that window so the base does not swallow five hundred people at once. Miss it by a mile and you talk to the staff at the gate, not to me. I cannot move a slot. I cannot hold one.
What an e-ticket is
An e-ticket is a digital pass on a phone, sometimes printed. It is not cash. It is not a wristband from a carnival. It usually carries a QR code and a time. Screenshot it before you lose signal in the trees. Phones die. The lot is a bad place to discover that.
The QR code at the gate
You show the code. A scanner beeps or it does not. If it does not, you are in a conversation with the operator’s staff. Bright sun on a cracked screen is a common reason. Pinch-zoom the code. Turn the brightness up. I have watched people argue with glass. The glass does not care.
After the scan you go into the queue for a cabin. Timed entry thins the door. It does not teleport you to the summit. If your group is six, stay together; splitting across two slots is how families lose each other in the building.
Neutral facts, not a pitch: slots exist because the ridge is small. The QR exists because paper blew down the lot for years. None of that is a sale. Buy from the operator if you decide to go. This site never processes a payment.
Refunds, weather closures, and what happens if the evening run is cancelled are operator rules. I will not guess them. Ask at the base or read their own sheet before you lock a day that cannot move.
